Dr Joe Allen-Fellows is a Chartered Psychologist, researcher, educator and criminal justice practitioner with more than two decades of experience working across youth justice, prisons, higher education and public service.

Throughout his career, Joe has worked at the point where policy meets practice, supporting children and adults within the criminal justice system, leading psychologically informed interventions, teaching the next generation of practitioners, and conducting research that seeks to improve the way public services are designed and delivered.

He is the founder of The 81 Fellowship, an independent organisation established to bridge the gap between research, policy and frontline practice.

Joe holds a Professional Doctorate in Criminal Justice from the University of Portsmouth, where his research examined organisational culture, practitioner wellbeing and the implementation of Child First principles within youth justice. His work has contributed to national discussions on youth justice reform and continues to inform policy, organisational development and professional practice.
